00 / base hypotheses

01Companies exist to create value.
02Value is created through work.
03Work requires intelligence.
04Humans no longer have a monopoly on intelligence.

For most of history, doing work meant hiring humans. That link is breaking. Humans discover. Agents execute.

01 / 07the present

The old model was human execution.

The purpose of a company is to create value. To create value, the company does work. Until now, doing work meant putting humans in the loop.

Humans clicked through CRMs, filled templates, moved information, chased approvals, wrote updates, and remembered the next step. The company scaled by adding more people to more work.

02 / 07the turn

That link is breaking.

Work no longer requires human execution by default. Agents can draft, route, analyze, coordinate, update, reconcile, and operate once the work is understood.

The bottleneck moves upstream. The hard part is no longer finding more humans to execute. The hard part is discovering what should be done and turning it into a playbook the company can run.

03 / 07the object

Telos is the substrate.

Telos is where company work is discovered, shaped, and converted into operations. It observes how work happens, extracts the playbook, and gives agents the context to run it.

Humans stay close to discovery, judgment, design, trust, and human-to-human work. Execution moves out of the human loop.

04 / 07the mechanism

Land. Extract. Invert.

phase 01

Land

Humans and agents do real company work inside one surface.

phase 02

Extract

Repeated work becomes a playbook with memory and context.

phase 03

Invert

Agents run the playbook. Humans handle discovery and judgment.

05 / 07the first buyer

For operators who
see the work.

The first buyer is a founder, operator, or department head inside a 20-to-500-person company who can point to work that repeats, depends on memory, and still moves through humans.

They know the company does not need another productivity tool. It needs a way to turn discovered work into operations agents can run.

06 / 07the proof

The company
is the system.

Telos is built around the belief that the company itself becomes programmable: work, memory, permissions, decisions, agents, and humans arranged into an operating system.

The measure is not headcount. The measure is how much value each head can carry.

07 / 07the ask

Bring us a workflow your company still runs by hand.

If your company has work that repeats, depends on memory, moves through people, and still waits for humans to execute, that is the starting point.
